Staff and Mission
The Mission of the Hunt County Community Supervision and Corrections Department is to protect the public through safe and effective community supervision practices, while providing a safe work environment.
This Department will implement Performance Based Measures to determine recidivism rates and cost effectiveness of service withing the department. All offenders shall be provided with opportunities to alter their current situation through referrals to the most appropriate service providing agencies within the community.
We will serve the Courts, serve as victim advocates and, as individuals maintain professional and ethica standards. We will implement make the public and governing bodies aware of evaluation procedures that measure effectiveness of department programs as they relate to the reduction of crime.
